Retreat Refund & Cancellation Policy

PAYMENT POLICY

After a confirmation has been emailed to you, a courtesy hold requires payment within 5 working days to secure the reservation.

For places that have a wait list, a 24hr courtesy hold will be offered.

RETREAT CANCELLATIONS

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation.

Naturally, no one books with the intention of cancelling or postponing their retreat, but unexpected things do happen, so please purchase travel cancellation insurance once you have made your reservation.

DEFINITIONS

“Cancellation” is defined as not attending your scheduled Through The Lyns retreat, including postponing or rescheduling.

“You” refers to the guest booking a Through The Lyns retreat.

“We” refers to Through The Lyns LLC.

TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE

To join the retreat you must have travel insurance. Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for all relevant activities you will be engaging upon on your retreat & trip. We assume if you are attending the retreat you have travel and cancellation insurance per this policy.

CANCELLATION

Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees.

With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.

GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your trip, Through The Lyns LLC does not offer refunds on deposits for any reason.

Depending on when you cancel, cancellation penalties may apply.

Fees are determined by the following schedule:

If you cancel more than 60+ days before the retreat start date, you may request a 100% remaining balance refund but forfeit your deposit.

If you cancel 30-59 days before retreat start date, you may request a 50% remaining balance refund but forfeit your deposit.

If you cancel 0-29 days before retreat start date, you may not request a refund of any kind.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed contracts within one week of booking or 60 days prior to retreat start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.

THROUGH THE LYNS CANCELLATION POLICY

We reserve the right to cancel any trip for any reason, but will not cancel a retreat less than 90 days before departure except for Force Majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside our control. When a retreat is canceled by Through The Lyns before the agreed start date for any reason other than the fault of the Guest, you can either:

Transfer your balance to another retreat taking place within the next 12 months, or:

Receive a full refund of monies paid under the contract as soon as possible.

We are not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that you may have incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, etc. If you are offered a refund but request an alternate tour of a higher value than that originally booked, then you must pay the difference in price. Where after departure a significant element of the trip contracted for cannot be provided, we will make suitable alternative arrangements for the continuation of the trip. If it is not possible to provide a suitable alternative or you reasonably reject any suitable alternatives, we will not be held responsible to provide you a refund of unused retreat portions. Where a significant alteration or cancellation occurs which is due to Force Majeure or other circumstances beyond our control, we will not be held responsible to provide you a refund of unused retreat portions.

This retreat refund and cancellation policy is the sole refund policy for Through The Lyns LLC organized retreats. This is for retreats and retreats only, no other policy applies.
